Mission and Outreach

Grace participates with a number of agencies and opportunities to extend help, hope, and healing to our neighbors. Read below to see how you can help.

  • Denver Inner City Parish

    • DICP accepts a broad range of non-perishable food items, such as pasta, cereal (lower sugar content preferred), canned fruits and vegetables, dry or canned beans and rice, canned soup (low sodium preferred), and baby food and formula.  Only unopened items and items less than one year after the expiration date on the package can be accepted.

  • Habitat for Humanity

    • Grace is part of the Loaves & Fishes Consortium of Churches which supports annual  Denver area Habitat home builds.

  • Family Promise

    • We are currently collecting quarters and/or Laundry pods. Please bring those to the office during open hours (M-F 10:30a-3:30p) or to worship on Sundays.

  • Meals on Wheels

    • This organization delivers weekday hot meals to needed people in the program.

  • NETWORK COFFEEHOUSE

    • Network Coffee House has been successfully reopened since November 2021. Karen Sumner volunteers on Thursdays from 10am-2pm, serving a hot, fresh meal.

  • Ladies with Spice

    • Grace collects donations of cooking spices for Warren Village single-parent families.  Donations of spices and herbs like paprika, cumin, cinnamon, thyme, basil, oregano (just to name a few!) can help transform a meal from basic to terrific and tasty, as well as help encourage more healthful and home-cooked meals.  Also, more basic items like salt, pepper, baking powder, and baking soda are gladly accepted.

  • Project C.U.R.E.

    • This is the world’s largest distributor of medical donations to resource-limited communities. Grace volunteers at the warehouse helping to pack the boxes of medical supplies to be shipped around the world.
