October 11 - Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon
Historical fiction story based on the real life diaries of Martha Ballard, an 18th century midwife. Martha's great-great granddaughter, Mary Hobart, was one of the first U.S. female physicians. Her sister's granddaughter was Clara Barton, founder of the Red Cross.
November 15 - Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi
A graphic novel memoir of her childhood and coming of age in Tehran, Iran during the Islamic Revolution.
December 13 - The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore
A light hearted holiday romance
