HOLY WEEK &
EASTER AT GRACE

Palm/Passion Sunday, March 24

10:00am Worship with Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Communion

Join us as we honor Jesus' entry into Jerusalem by waving palm branches and looking to the circumstances that lead up to tragic events of the last week of Jesus’ earthly life.

Holy Tuesday, March 26

6:30 pm Stations of the Cross

We can never know what the last day of Jesus’ life was like. But in this modern interpretation of an ancient practice, we will journey with Jesus to his death, stopping at 14 events along the way. Music, silence, prayer, and conetmplation guide us on this journey.

Holy Thursday, March 28

6:30 pm Maundy Thursday with Footwashing and Holy Communion

Maundy Thursday is a special time commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. This communal experience involves music, foot or hand washing, and the celebration of Holy Communion.

Good Friday, March 29

6:30 pm A Service of Tenebrae ("Shadows")

Through scripture readings and music, this service reflects on the profound sacrifice of Christ, culminating in a symbolic representation of the growing shadows of Good Friday. We extinguish candles until the whole room is in darkness, feeling the void left by Christ’s death.

Easter Sunday, March 31

9 and 11 am Festive Worship with Holy Communion, Choir, and Handbells
10:15 am  Egg Hunt for Children

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! We celebrate this most holy of days with a joyful service of worship that includes Holy Communion with uplifting music by our Chancel Choir and the Grace Ringers handbells.
